Young Minds: Petition against cuts to children and young people’s mental health services

Here’s a message from Young Minds:

On Friday we released the results of our latest FOI on cuts to CAMHS, and yet again it’s really depressing news: 77% of local clinical commissioning groups and 55% of local authorities who responded to us said they had frozen or cut their CAHMS budgets in the last 2 years.

These cuts have led to a national crisis in service provision with tragic consequences.

Annie, one of our YoungMinds Vs activists, spoke bravely on the BBC news about her struggle to get access to mental health services.

She has done this in the hope of getting politicians to take urgent action to end the crisis in children and young people’s mental health services.

Annie isn’t alone in waiting months for help. Thousands of other young people are in the same position across Britain, and it could get worse.

Please sign and share Annie’s petition now to help fight for all young people to have access to mental health services when they need them.
