The Kirklees Local Offer Live event takes place on Thursday 23rd October 9.15 to 5.15 at the Accu Staium (formerly John Smith’s Stadium) Huddersfield. There will be 80 providers across health, social care, education, activities for children and adults, advice and information around caring, education, finance and more. The event is aimed at parents and carers of children and young people (up to age25) with special educational needs and is hosted by PCAN. It will give parents and carers a chance to find out what’s out there, and discuss things in person with a wide range of providers.

There are a range of free workshops as well. The following three are pre-recorded and will run at intervals throughout the day.

In addition, responding to demand from parents, there will be a face to face workshop, run at 10 am and 12.30 pm “Own the Room” – making meetings with professionals work for you”
The whole event is free to attend and you do not have to book. The stadium has plenty of free parking too.
