June is Motor Neurone disease Awareness Month

Motor Neurone Disease (MND) is the name for a relatively rare condition where parts of the nervous system become damaged. This causes progressive muscle weakness, usually with muscle wasting.  It affects around 5,000 people at any one time in the UK.
