World Arthritis Day – 12th October 2014

World Arthritis Day raises awareness of rheumatic and musculoskeletal diseases (RMDs) amongst the general public and the medical community and aims to influence public policy.

The theme of this year’s campaign is living better and ageing well – providing advice and information covering the different issues of importance for people growing up and growing older with a RMD.

Please visit http://www.worldarthritisday.org/tools-for-you/people-with-rmd/living-better where you will find a series of features being posted between now and December.  The first feature is ‘healthy living’, under which the first factsheet about physical activity and exercise has already been posted.  The factsheet provides information for people of all ages.
