Thriving Kirklees – changes in healthcare services for children and young people in kirklees .

Parents!!! We need you!
We are pleased to announce that Healthcare services for children and young people in Kirklees will, from 1 April, be provided by a partnership called ‘Thriving Kirklees’. Locala is the lead organisation and we are joined in the partnership by South West Yorkshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, Northorpe Hall, Home-Start and Yorkshire Children’s Centre.
We are looking for interested parents to join us at a social event in Huddersfield Town centre to help shape and improve Children’s services.
To kick start a series of sessions we would like to explore the introduction of a Single Point of Contact. This telephone number will be the main route for parents contacting health care services including Health visiting, Nursery Nursing, School Nursing and also Emotional Health and Wellbeing services.
VENUE: Brian Jackson House, 2 New North Parade, Huddersfield HD1 5JP
TIME: 1-230pm (please note this is a very flexible session so arrive and leave when you need to!)
DATE: 5th May 2017
For more information please contact emma.boyes@locala.org.uk or call 07976 482442. Everybody is welcome! Please bring along your children! This is a great opportunity to get involved with Locala and meet other local people.
If you think that you will be able to attend please drop Emma a quick email to allow her to gather a rough idea of numbers…..Equally if you cannot attend on this day but would like to contribute electronically or by telephone still get in touch.
(Refreshments and a few toys will be provided but feel free to bring more!)
