Planning for the Future post 16

Many of us are worried about what will happen as our kids get older; where they might live, how they will manage and what we need to to do to prepare them.  If they are going to be staying at home after finishing education, what will they be doing and what support can you get as a carer? We also need to think about what happens when we are no longer able to look after them. With that in mind, PCAN is running an event on:

Tuesday 21st May 9.30 am to 2.30 pm

at the John Smith’s Stadium, Stadium Way, Huddersfield HD1 6PG

The event will include a range of providers including Carers Count, DWP, Adult Social Care, Day providers, estate planning, shared lives, transitions team and more. Please come along to find out more. You can book a place here

Mental Capacity

Wills, Trusts and power of attorney

Living options (presented by parents whose young people have moved away from home)
