Here are the all important Super Sunday and Holiday Club dates for the first half of 2017. Remember, places are free and MUST be booked in advance..

Please see the link below for courses and activities run by Carers Count for carers in Kirklees. These include coffee mornings, courses such as meditation, building confidence, moving and handling as well as activities like arts and crafts, a book club, Tai Chi and more. Many are free, for some there is a small charge.
Here is information on Mencap’s More 2 Do project for young people on the autistic spectrum or with learning difficulties. The project is for young people aged 18 plus, so ideal for those transitioning from young people’s sessions to adult activities. Click the link below to download the leaflet.
After attending a recent workshop on fuel poverty I have links to some really useful information for anybody regardless of if they are in fuel poverty or not. The first is top-10-tips-to-stay-warm-and-healthy which includes information on warm home discounts, simple energy saving tips and where to find out about local schemes for free/discounted boilers and insulation.
The second is local information provided by the council on local services available such as better homes Kirklees which can help with improvements such as insulation and central heating systems and Mears home improvements which offer free gas services and repairs (subject to receiving certain benefits).
