Growing works – Summer Events

This summer Growing works have loads of family activities going on! Please forward this to any families you feel could benefit.

Sprout sessions are free, outdoor activities for families who have children with additional needs. Enjoy spending time together as a family and gaining support from other parents/carers. Activities can include gardening, outdoor cooking, bug hunting, sporty activities and crafts suited for all ages and abilities; siblings are equally important. No diagnosis needed.

On July 5th we are celebrating and displaying our families artwork from the last four weeks within the theme of ‘Birds, Bees, Butterflies and Bikes’. We will be trying some woodturning and if you would like your face or arm painted bring along some pennies. Click here for more information.

Sprout has a full program during the summer holidays at Northorpe Hall in Mirfield and Cliffe House in Shepley, as well as every Saturday during term time.

Telephone 01484 606506 or email info@growingworks.org.uk for dates and times.

Don’t miss out on our special events, we will be once again at Dewsbury on sea on Saturday 23rd August. You will spot us easily, look out for the potting shed where we will be eating healthy food, gardening and chilling out (hopefully in the sun).

We will also be at the Flame event at Crow Nest Park Dewsbury on Thursday 31st July where we will be doing outdoor activities, planting and eating too!
