PCAN’s trustees have begun to plan for the year ahead, setting out the tasks and activities that will drive forward our three themes of Good Information, Talk and Support and a Strong Voice. Some of the priorities for PCAN over the coming year are
– to get a newsletter to Members every half-term
– to hold regular events for parents and a large information, advice and support event this Autumn
– to have good systems in place to gather Members views and to make sure information reaches Members and Friends
– to develop good working relationships with Kirklees Council, the local NHS and others and begin to use Members views to influence how services for children and families are delivered
– to grow PCAN’s membership.
