Disability Sport Yorkshire – upcoming events

Disability Sport Yorkshire will be hosting some events in the Kirklees area.

These events will be fully inclusive, and will include a competitive element for those who want to compete; and a “have a go” element for those who just want to try something new.

The events will be supported by local partner organisations in Kirklees, which currently provide suitable activities for these client groups.

Tuesday 8th March 10.30am -3pm Batley RLFC DSY 7 a side Tag Rugby Competition

 

Also featuring: Rugby activities, intro to walking rugby, cheerleading, Bygone Rugby Memories (DVDs)

Teams of players with disabilities, mental illness, or walking rugby teams

Wheelchair users, older people, People with Dementia and their carers

Date TBC Huddersfield DSY Sitting Volleyball Workshop (4 hours)

Learn how to introduce the game
